Q- How do I make a booking? A- There are many ways to book, Secure sever, telephone, Fax, money Order, .etc
Q- Are you available to show me the flat sometimes next week? A- Yes, you can view the flat before booking, just call us the day before to arrange viewing time, we are available 7 days a week. Our rooms are all newly decorated, extremely clean and everybody loves them.
Q- Do I need to pay money upfront? A- Depending on the type of accommodation you request, the minimum non refundable deposit would be 10 pounds. And no, we don't accept first born children as a deposit...

Q- What is your cancellation policy? A- Unless stated otherwise on your reservation the minimum will be 7 days for rooms, Rooms & Studios, for Hotels cancellation please see the Hotel and Bed and Breakfast faq section.
Q- I am arriving very late about midnight or even later if the plane is late but don't want to book in a hotel? A- We will be happy to book you in one of the Hostels not far from our Studios for the first night, and then come the next day at 11 am to our Studios.
Q- How do I Pay? A- In Most cases, balance is due on arrival. you will get more information on your confirmation e-mail.
Q- What is check out time? A- Check out time is 10:30 AM
Q- What is check in time? A- Because check out time is 10:30, the check in time is 12:00, that give us time to get the rooms ready.
Q- I am arriving around 8am, can I have my room that early? A- To access the room that early, you will need to book it from the day before, so It will be kept empty.
Q- I am arriving at the airport at 8pm, and I can be at the station 10pm - can I get picked up using your service? A- This service is only available between 9am and 5pm usually. If you do have a late arrival, we may be able to work something out, otherwise we can book you into a hostel with 24hour reception for the night, then you can have breakfast and meet us the next morning.
Q- I am arriving next week for the weekend with 12 of my friends, would you have a 12 beds in a dorm? A- We don't do dorm rooms, but we can book you in a hostel which does.
Q- Do I have to pay a bond/deposit ( Damage deposit)
when I arrive to the accommodation? If you don't have a credit card, e-mail us and we would do our best to help you out..
Q- Does the fridge have a freezer section? A-
Some do. Because it is so important to have a freezer in London. London is so hot!!! you will be needing ice cubes every five minutes... Q-What are the room dimensions of the single
en-suite?
Q- How many blankets/sheets/Towels are provided? A- As many as you need.
Q- What does the service charge constitute? A- Service charge is what you pay when you are renting a flat, not a house. It is usually around £65 per month. When staying with us, we cover it for you.
Q- How often are the rooms cleaned/sheets & blankets changed, and is there a separate charge? A- Rooms are cleaned before you check in. The rooms are also checked by one of our managers, before you move in. You get the clean linen and then it is up to you to clean the linen during your weekly laundry. Cleaners clean the common areas, they do not have access to private rooms. You are required to clean up after yourself every time you use the kitchen or the bathroom.
Q- Are the ironing facilities communal? If so, what is the charge if any, to use the iron/ironing board? A- Iron facilities are communal and FREE! Yes, it is part of the service.
Q- Are the showers in the single en-suite rooms coin operated? A- No, nothing is coin operated, except my brain of course!!
Q- What type of heating is used in the rooms? e.g. oil, electric, gas? A- Gas central heating, supplied by British Gas in most flats and houses, few flats have electric heating!
Q- Can the temperature of the heaters be controlled/adjusted? A- Yes.
Q- What months is the heating able to be utilized? A- When ever it is cold, usually October to April.
Q- Does the heating automatically turn on/off at the times given on the web site? A- Yes.
Q- Is the kitchen communal? A- In most cases, yes. but you can request a room with private kitchen like OPTION 57
Q- Do you supply washing and cleaning materials? A- Yes. There will always be dishwashing liquid for cleaning the dishes in the kitchen, cleaning stuff to clean the bath, and soap to wash your hands.
Q- What appliances are provided in the single room? A- Most singles will have fridge, Sky TV & telephone, wardrobe, bed, desk, chair...
Q- Are there direct dial phones in the room or coin operated public phones in the building? A- All rooms have telephone in the rooms. In both cases you can dial out using phone cards supplied by us and it's much cheaper. Calling Australia using the prepaid cards is only 5pence or less per minute while calling Australia from public phone cost over a pound per minute, and that is well over 20 times more expensive.
Q- Do you provide electric blankets? A- No, they are a fire hazard
Q- What do I have to pack when coming to London? A- Nothing, only your clothes and plenty of money ( cash and credit cards), that's assuming you have clothes. Oh yes, don't forget to bring yourself, of course.
Q- Is there a supermarket in walking distance ? A- Yes. Last time I checked they do home delivery, you can order your groceries by interent.
Q- Are people able to send mail addressed to me? A- Yes.
Q- If I make a booking for three weeks from the date of my arrival will it be relatively easy to extend my stay? A- Yes, a piece of cake... (chocolate cake)!
Q- What appliances/facilities are provided in the kitchen? A- Depends on each individual house/Flat. In all cases you don't need to buy a thing. We don't expect our guests to travel with frying pans in their suitcases!
Q- Is there a laundry with washing machine and/or clothes dryer? If not, is there a Laundromat within walking distance? A- Yes, in most cases within walking distance there will be a launderette. Very few flats have their own washing machine. You can also order a service wash for £6 per bag, picked from your house and brought back to you, cleaned, dried and folded...not bad you may think? The same goes for dry cleaning.
Q- As I arrive in London on a Sunday afternoon, is it possible to arrange for someone to open my room and the like? A- No problem! Just discuss it with the us when you call or e-mail.
Q- Do the single en-suite rooms have any wardrobes/cupboards/storage facility? A-
Yes, all rooms do.
Q- Do you serve breakfast? A- We don't for the moment. Unless you wish to stay in one of the bed and breakfast listed on the home page. It is officially M.Y.O (make your own)
Q- When is the time limit to make a reservation? A-
You can book as early as you want or as late as you want, if you leave it till the last hour (like calling us from the Airport), you will still stand a chance as
sometimes we have cancellations, if we are full we will recommend a place for you. You can make a reservation using a credit card and pay cash on arrival. A-
Only 10% are students, the rest are working travelers. The atmosphere is great . Q- When shall I pay for the accommodation? A- On arrival, one week rent in advance minus any deposit already paid to us if you are staying over 4 weeks. If you are staying 4 weeks or less ,total amount is due on arrival minus any deposit already paid. You won't have to pay any deposit if you hand over your application together with credit card details.
Q- Do you know how to get a temporary job (as barmaid for instance)? A- Check out our London Guide for agency listing.
Q- I have a credit card, if I ring you and give you the details, can I pay cash when I get there or will I be charged on credit card? A- You will be charged a minimum of 10 pounds which will be used towards your rent, it simply secures your booking. You pay the balance on arrival in cash if you want. depending on type of accommodation ,you might be required to pay more than 10 pounds. to secure the booking
Q- Do you use gas or electricity for cooking? A- I personally do not cook. I live on take away, especially fish and chips and junk food. In the UK, they mostly use gas for cooking, most of the flats have electric.
Q- What about soccer/football? Do you have any stadiums nearby? A- Yes, the nearest one is the famous Arsenal stadium, just opposite the Arsenal station (Piccadilly line).
Q- I am traveling with my girl friend, can we share the room? A- Yes, of course. You may share the double bed as well, unless of course you wish to sleep on the floor. It can happen.
Q- Do I get to meet other travelers and make friends? A- Only if you behave yourself!! ha ha! if you still don't have friends at your age you have a serious PROBLEM !!
Q- Is smoking allowed in the rooms/flat/house? A- If we se you smoking! we will presume you are on fire and will act accordingly!!. For your own safety, NO. Absolutely not. Smoking makes the rooms smell, plus it is a fire hazard. you can smoke outside the flat making sure you dispose of the cigarette but on the allocated box to keep the area outside the flat clean and tidy. If you are a heavy smoker our accommodation will not be suitable for you, please book with another company.
Q- Do you have rooms for vegetarians? A- I am not sure what to answer. If you mean a room full of vegetables, then the answer is no!!! But we can do that providing you don't ask for out of season vegetables. We don't usually discriminate against vegetarians! Your diet is not of our concern.
Q- I would like to stay 3 nights only, can you help? A- Why not?
Q- What if I rely on you and you don't have a place for me? A-
If you book and you get a confirmation number starting with 92, (Your confirmation should have 8 digits starting with 92 ), Then your reservation
is more than secure for a studio/room.
Q- What about room dimensions? A- Well the minimum for a single should be around 10 meters squared and a double 12 meters squared .
Q- What happens when I fill the information on the booking form? A- Depending on the request, we inform you if we can make a booking straight away or not, if not then we keep your details on the waiting list and if there is an opening as you requested we will contact you. If you are on the waiting list, it will be a good idea to inform us close to the date that you are still looking for a place.
Q- Can I make a booking for next Christmas & New year ? A- In most cases yes, just use our secure server or give us a call.
Q- I have a lot of luggage can you organize a Taxi for me? A- No problem !! Email us and we can put you touch with some good deals.
Q- If I arrive at 9:30 am, can I have my room straight away? A- Check-out time for current residents is 10:30am and check-in time for new residents is 12pm (to give us time to clean the room). You may, however leave your luggage with us at the office and go on an exploring tour of the area or go into Central London. If you need to have a shower before you go on your exploration, we will arrange that for you.
Q- I am looking for an address and I don't have any map with me? A- Please go to the link page and follow the street finder.
Q- Do you know how to get hold of a complete tube map/bus information fares ..etc.? A- This is an easy question, this web site is perfect for that. Go to the link page and click on the transport link.

Q- Do your rooms have windows? And can you open the window? A-
Yes all the rooms have at least one window and of course you can open the window, For your information it is illegal to offer a room without natural light, I am not
sure if its windows95 or 98 though.... A- It's not hard to meet expenses, jobs are everywhere... try our agency list and contact some of the agencies.
Q- Do you supply clean bed sheets, my friend told me, some landlords in London supply dirty bed sheets? A- You will get clean bed sheets, duvet and duvet cover, and if you don't like the color of the bed sheets, we will replace them.
Q- Do rooms have bunk beds? A- No, they don't. We don't do bunk beds and we don't do dorms , we have mainly singles and doubles and few triples. if you are after a bed in a hostel, we can book you a bed in one of central London Hostels listed on the site.
Q- Do you have honeymoon rooms? A- Correct me if I am wrong, you mean a room with a very strong doubles bed and sound proof? A strong bed we have, but I am not sure if the room is soundproof enough.. Tell me what you need and I will try to sort it out for you, Last year we had a total of 37 couples who came on honeymoon, but did not ask anything special except flowers wine and privacy.
Q- You asked me to read your web site, do you realize your web site has so much information, if I decided to read everything , I won't have time to get to London? I only have 2 weeks holiday! A- If you are planning a trip of 2 weeks in London, most of what is written in London Guide would not apply to you anyway. Just come to London and be surprised, the only thing is that you won't know where to start, and if you have only two weeks holiday, you'll spend most of the two weeks trying to figure out what to do next. Be smart! read as much as you can before you come.
Q- I don't understand the meaning of double room, are you talking about 2 rooms or one room? A- A double room is one room with a double bed, suitable for couples. So one large bed in a room and the room is called Double room, if you put 2 small beds or single beds, the room becomes twin room, suitable for two friends, 2 girls, 2 boys, one boy & one girl and maybe a couple who don't wish to be in the same bed, may be they hate each other, you never know!!

A- If we have to choose between a non smoker and a smoker, we will give the room to a NON smoker, but some of our guests who do smoke, don't mind smoking outside making sure they put the cigarette butt in the designated can. Some of our rooms have balcony, so you can request one of those.
